Hello!

I am Marin and come from the island of Rab in Croatia.

Marin is a typical Dalmatian name and it means “the man who is living at the sea”.
I was born in Germany and I lived there until I was 6 years old, after that my parents moved back to Croatia.

I worked for many years in my job as topographic surveyor. Because my father was a offshore-captain, I spent also a lot of time on the sea as a sailor and fisher.

To spend the time at the sea is an adventure - and I can tell that a life without it I just could not imagine for myself.

I have a big passion for languages, until now I speak five of them ( German, English, Spanish, Italian, and Croatian) and I was thinking of how to use them. Also my knowledge in tourism that I got. Because I come from the island of Rab, a touristic hotspot in
the Adriatic Sea, it is only a matter of course to start up with Islandhopping.

Now I let yourself go to explore my cycling-history by yourself and I invite you to discover with me the Croatian Islands by boat and bicycle.
