Our Islandhopping rental bikes are the result of a long experience in biking tourism. They contain the experience of 5.000.000 km of combined bike and boat tours - and who in the world can beat that?
Each detail of our bikes speaks of our passion for a reliable easy-maintenance bicycle. Because repairing a bike on board a ship is often more difficult and expensive.
That is the reason why our bikes have no superfluous movable parts that could potentially break. And although the parts we use are not the most expensive among the vast choice of components they certainly are the most durable.
The Islandhopping bicycles can not be bought in any store because it is made to order according to our specifications and special requirements.
We are convinced that high quality rental bikes in perfect technical condition guarantee for the success of our tours. That is why we invest a lot of time and care in their development and production.
The frames were especially welded for us in this form (classic aluminium frame or, respectively, oversized frame with low mounting point) and lacquered in our favorite colour: midnight blue.
Islandhopping bikes come in three versions: 21-gear-trekking bikes, mountain bikes as well as unisex 7-gear-bikes. So depending on destination, difficulty of terrain and personal preference we can equip you with the optimal rental bicycle. For our mountain bike tours and racing bike tours we also offer rental bikes of the brand TREK (fullsuspension MTB & racing bikes) and CUBE (fullsuspension MTB).
