Introduction
Croatia has a beautiful and well-indented coast with thousands of islands, reefs and bays.  Numerous romantic ruins, charming hills, countless natural beauties and phenomena are waiting to be discovered. We invite you to spend a week on a ship cruising between the mainland and the sea. Good cuisine, an open-minded crew and knowledgeable tour guides are expecting you. You will visit two national parks and the islands of Central Dalmatia, starting from Trogir. Highlights include UNESCO-protected Old town of Trogir, Primosten, Sibenik with its famous cathedral, Zadar, National Parks Krka-Waterfalls and Kornati Islands. Trogir can easily be reached via Split Airport. Spend your days cycling, and nights on board of our motor yacht, which will be accompanying you throughout the whole trip.
Day 1 (Sat) Trogir - Solta Island (approx. 30 km / 19 mi. by bicycle)

Individual approach, either by car to Trogir or by plane to Split. After checking in on the wooden yacht at Trogir and a first lunch on board, you first cruise begins. The Linda takes you to Maslinica on the island of Solta. On the first bike trip you familiarize yourself with you bicycle and become acquainted with this fragrent island. In the evening you return to Trogir, where you have time to explore the historical town center which is a World Heritage site.

Day 2 (Sun) Trogir - Primosten - Sibenik (approx. 55 km / 34 mi. by bicycle)

Today’s bicycle ride takes you to the hinterland of the coast, through small villages and along little-frequented roads until you reach Primosten, where the boat awaits you in order to take you to Sibenik. The cathedral of St. Jacob is the most famous building in town and part of the UNESCO’s World Heritage sites. On no account should you miss a visit. In the evening, the numerous bars and cafes are an incentive to go on an extensive walk through the town.

Day 3 (Mon) National park of Krka and Skradin - Vodice (10 + 35 km / 6 + 22 mi. by bicycle)

In the morning cross-over to Skradin, the starting point of today’s bicycle tour. You explore the lower Krka waterfalls - surviving in their natural beauty – in the national park of the Krka Canyon, a protected geological attraction. Here the Krka River winds its way for the first 10 km through flat land, for another 40 km through deep ravines and for the last 20 km through lakes connected to the sea. In the afternoon you cycle from Skradin through arid and mostly thinly populated hinterland to Vodice, where you will spend the night.

Day 4 (Tue) Vodice - Biograd (approx. 55 km / 34 mi. by bicycle)

After breakfast you start your extensive bike tour that takes you around Vraner Lake to Biograd. The Vraner Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Croatia. On account of its floral and faunal diversity, a large part of the shore and the lake is protected as a nature park. Today’s lunch is a picnic taken during the bike tour. The Linda alreadys awaits you in Biograd, a very popular harbour for sailboats. 

Day 5 (Wed) The islands of Pasman and Dugi Otok (approx. 30 km / 18 mi. by bicycle)

Your ship takes you to the island of Pasman at the Zadar Canal. You bicycle along the east coast and cross a bridge to reach Kukljica on the island of Ugljan. From there the Linda takes you to Sali on DugiOtok Island, from where you follow in the footsteps of Winnetou: the bike ride takes you into the Telascica nature park, the location of the „Silver Lake“that played an important role in a film about the famous chief of the Apaches. It is not only the Silver Lake but also the steep cliffs above the sea, which you can explore on foot, that make the visit to this nature park such a great experience. Overnight stay in Sali.

Day 6 (Thu) The island of Dugi Otok (approx. 60 km / 37 mi. by bicycle)

Your bike tour begins in Sali along the panorama road as far as Savar, where you will meet the boat for lunch. In the afternoon, you follow a panoramic road, you ride clear across the island. During the ride you are treated to countless unforgettable vistas of the islands in the deep-blue sea. Before you reach Bozava you visit the lighthouse of Veli Rat. From Bozava the boat brings you to the island of Molat, where you stay overnight.

Day 7 (Fri) The islands of Molat and Ugljan - Zadar (20 + 15 km / 12,5 + 9 mi. by bicycle)

The island of Molat is well-known for its lush vegetation. After breakfast you cycle the short road from Molat, the main harbour of the island, to Zapuntel and back. Before lunch the Linda takes you to Muline in the island of Ugljan. Your last bike tour leads you from Muline to Preko, from where you either take the ferry boat to get to Zadar or the Linda will bring you to Zadar which, for centuries, was the political, cultural and spiritual center of Dalmatia. Your tour-guide takes you on an extensive walk through the lanes of the lively old center. 3000 years of history have left their imprint on the character of this town and there are many things to be admired: the mighty fortification walls with their bastions, the loggia but also the early Romanesque St. Donatus basilika. Overnight in the harbour of Zadar.

Day 8 (Sat) Zadar (Departure)

The guests are asked to check out after breakfast, i.e. at 9 am. If needed, collective transfer back to Trogir (on request, duration approx. 2,5 hrs).

General Information

Alterations  
We reserve the right to make alterations to the itinerary, depending on wind and weather conditions or organisational requirements. Sometimes the tour will be conducted in inverse order. You will find further details in your booking information packet.

Requirements (Level 2-3)
The bike routes require a basic level of fitness, which you should have acquired by steady cycling.  The routes can reach an altitude of 200 to 500 metres.  The daily routes, of 30-60 km, cover hilly and mountainous terrain and can be completed without time constraints.  You will also come across some longer and rather steep climbs, where walking your bike is of course permitted.  The tour guides will inform you about the course of the tour in due time.  You can also choose to skip a bike-tour and spend a day sunbathing on the ship instead. The roads are mostly asphalted and there is little traffic outside of holiday-periods. You can decide every day for yourself, whether you would like to cycle individually, using the maps provided, or join one of the tour guides (or individual participants).

Bringing Children
We believe that only children in a good physical condition and of a minimum age of 10 and previous bicycle tour experience are able to master the bike-tours on their own strength. Please note that the minimum height for a rental bike is 1,40 m (4.6 ft.)

Catering
The cook on board is a member of the crew and prepares the breakfast and two warm meals a day.  The full board starts with the lunch on the arrival day and ends with the breakfast on the departure day.
Guided tour
The tour will generally be guided in German language. One of the guides will translate into English for non-German-speaking participants.
