Our friendly and competent guides are the heart and the soul of island hopping. Most of them originate directly from the tourist country and live of their activity as tour guide. Some guides work already more than five years for us and they are proper at home on the islands and ships . It is a dictum among them that one can remove them from the ships at the end of the season only "by surgery", since they would not go voluntarily. The tour-guiding is an important topic to us. With the wheel journeys with more than 20 participants a second guide is on board (this means:nearly always). One of them forms the rearguard of the group, so that you have security of being able to take his (or her) assistance in case of a breakdown . The guides mostly divide the posts of the "mechanic" and the "culture Minister" among themselves, so that the one worries about your bicycles, while the other one gives you an understanding of past and cultural peculiarities of the tourist country.
