My name is Catharina. I studied archaelogy, art history and ancient history in Tübingen, but even then I wanted to move much further South. My great love is Greece . I have lived for the past five years in Athens and have grown to know and love the language, people and country.

I joined the island-hopping team in Spring 2005 and it has given me the chance to discover Greece from a new perspective and to get to know the wonderful country of Croatia . I have grown to love cycling, the constant proximity to the ocean, the friendly ship life and above all the happy, friendly guests. 

The best part of being a tour guide is for me being able to awaken the interest of guests for the history and the sites of their destination. Perhaps someday I`ll  be able to persuade my guests that the myths I tell them are actually true...
