For six years now I've been exploring my hometown, Cologne, with Hercules, my ancient Greek, turquois-coloured, 3-geared "partner."

My university studies of sports sciences concentrated on prevention and rehabilitation, with a special interest in bicycling. So it is particularly good to know that the joy of bicycling is a great contribution to staying healthy. Biking makes it possible actively to improve the quality of life.

In the future I'd like to combine bicycling with my second great passion, travelling.

In the beginning of 2007 I travelled in Thailand and India. As so often when on the road, I was always drawn to the fascinating sea, for swimming, snorkeling and boating. Along with other colourful events, I heard along the way about the boats cruising between the islands and I was immediately enthusiastic. To share this feeling, Island Hopping with guests from all over the world is the perfect challenge for me.
