Klaus is from 2007 on one of our "full-time" tour guides. He has worked for years in his "real" job for a large, German software company. He has lived and worked in Switzerland since 2004 and takes over as tour guide where his job allows it.

 "I first became aware of "Zeitreisen" during a long flight to the USA . By chance I read in a magazine about island-hopping. I found the combination of cycling and cruising very attractive. When I returned to Germany I immediately contacted Klaus Schenk. 

We met in Constance and came quickly to an agreement. As I had planned to take 6 months break from my job, Klaus` offer of a job as a tour guide for 6 weeks in Croatia was perfect and after some training and cycling practice with Yacek I was ready. 

Along with the sportiness of the job, I really enjoy using my geographical and ethnological knowledge gained while in university.  Life on the ship and the maintanance of the bikes, and the wide range of activities, offer me the perfect balance to my job in the software branch."
