Hunger, thirst, homesickness...
Hunger and thirst are worse than homesickness, so we drink a Slibovic! That actually says just about everything - nevertheless here's everything one more time, all official and proper.
"Good morning, dear guests - my name is Robby and I am your travel guide here on board!"
And is there anything else to say?
My birthday is the 21st April 1972 and I opened my eyes to the electric light of the world in Livno (Bosnien). My father was involved in road construction, my mother in gastronomy and social skills. Although I have Croatian parents and a Croatian passport, I speak very good German. That's because we moved to Munich when I was just two years old. We stayed until 1984. There was enough time to learn German, and Oktoberfest became a second home for me, and Munich the same for my parents. Now we have lived for some time in Croatia again, first of all for 9 years in Karlovac and then for 7 years, until now, in Porec.
I have learny a fair few things in my life: car mechanic, building site worker and waiter; I can do almost anything - except perhaps things with computers. And when I can't do something, at least I can try. My versatility and my organisatio nal abilities are particularly important in my job as a travel guide, and are always enquired about. Being a travel guide is, by the way, my dream job, since as I work I can make music, wait on tables, and enjoy the fresh air, the many nice people, interesting cafes and pretty waitresses that I get to know. And above all; I love the parties, the beer, the pubs, the women and the cafes - in short, simply everything that's fun. Now a word about waiting tables. I learnt it, by the way, from my brother. Later I could perfect my built-in tendency for performing services in Munich and in the biggest disco in Porec (space for 6000 guests), amongst others. So you shouldn't wonder when you catch me serving, or when I clear the tables...
Many people ask themselves, how, despite my not inconsiderable nicotine consumption (and beer) I am such a strong cyclist with so much stamina. To that I can only say the following: "Even if I don't really look like it - I love sport!" I have played up to Division 2 standard in Handball, as kids we kicked a footbal around with Markus Oberleitner and Paul Breitner and my best place in national tabletennis was seventh. And with regard to cycling: I have always been a great "Radler" fan (the german word for shandy/beer and sprite - and a similar word to cycling/ 'radfahren') - when in need a shandy does the job!
In addition to this I love music, playing both the harmonica and the accordion. When can I give you a demonstration of my abilities?
Everything CAN BE, BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE!
