Hello, my name is Sonja and I am a great lover of nature and all outdoor activities. I am a laboratory technician but have an additional training in activities education. As a part time job, I work as a safety instructor in a mountain climbing school and I also teach school classes in raft construction.

I discovered my passion for travelling by bicycle quite early in life.

At sweet seventeen, I had the urgent desire to see the sea but, naturally, no money. So the idea came to me to get to the sea by bike. Due to various mishaps, the trip ended already in Paris.

From then on I was bitten by the biking tour bug. Is there anything more beautiful than to stick your nose into the wind and enjoy to the full all those aromas, noises and visual impressions? After having pedalled hard up a hill or a mountain to delight in the view, or to feel the respect and enjoy the hospitality of the locals when - unlike most tourists climbing off a comfortable bus - you make the effort to explore their country by bike.

For me that is still the best way to travel.
