I am Uli, from Rostock, a pretty little town right on the beautiful shores of the Baltic Sea.

As a "fish-head", water is my element and I love travelling on the sea.
Already during my sports studies I enrolled enthusiastically in all watersport courses, from sailing to kite surfing. The only sport that has (almost) nothing to do with water but is nevertheless a great favorite of mine is hockey, which I have been playing for 12 years now.

After university I followed the yearning for more southern parts of the world, with the stipulation that the beaches were at least as beautiful as at home. So I left the much too often grey north German lowlands and bicycled as a mountainbike guide through the craggy Gallura of Sardinia.
And there I had the all-decisive experience, namely: There is hardly anything more beautiful than to discover by bike a country, its culture and its nature. And even more beautiful are the shiny eyes of the guests when they are shown the most beautiful spots in the Mediterranean. So my dream job became more concrete and my job application was dispatched to Radurlaub Zeitreisen in Constance.
