Islandhopping by Bike & Boat

Do you love the sea and cruising by boat? Are you curious to see the most beautiful islands of the world and are you enjoying cycling? If so our cycle cruises match perfectly! Islandhopping combines two travel concepts into a one special holiday adventure: the active cycling across the foreign country and the relaxing cruise on board of a romantic motor sailor. Always accompanied by our competent and educated local tour guides you will get to know the best places of the islands. Our trekking cycle tours presume a basic fitness level which can be obtained by daily routine cycling.

Helmet Use

Helmet use is mandatory on all bike tours. You are strongly encouraged to bring your own (well-fitted) helmet.

Requirements of our Cycle Tours

The bike routes require a basic level of fitness, which you should have acquired by daily cycling. The roads are mainly asphalted.

Grade 1

The bike tours reach elevations between 100 and 300 metres. A day's tour covers between 20 and 50 km / 12 and 32 mi.

Grade 2

The bike tours reach elevation between 200 and 500 metres. A day's tour covers between 30 and 60 km / 19 and 38 mi.

Grade 3

The bike tours reach elevation between 300 and 700 metres. A day's tour covers between 30 and 80 km / 19 and 50 mi.

Requirements for the Adventure Cruises

You can participate in the bike tours without additional costs, using the 7-gear-unisex tour bikes with free hubs provided on board and, on request, with the guidance of your well-informed tour guide. The tours do not require any special physical fitness. The walks and short hikes run along good routes, some of which are even asphalted, and are also not very demanding. The tours are especially suitable for families. For kids we offer trailer bikes and children seats on request.
