Islandhopping by Bike & Boat

Islandhopping combines two travel concepts into a one special holiday adventure: the active cycling across the foreign country and the relaxing cruise on board of a romantic motor sailor. Always accompanied by our competent and educated local tour guides you will get to know the best places of the islands. Our trekking cycle tours presume a basic fitness level which can be obtained by daily routine cycling.

Helmet Use

Helmet use is mandatory on all bike tours. You are strongly encouraged to bring your own (well-fitted) helmet.

Requirements of our Cycle Tours

The bike routes require a basic level of fitness- which you should have acquired by daily cycling. The roads are mainly asphalted.

Grade 1

The bike tours reach elevations between 100 and 300 metres. A day's tour covers between 20 and 50 km / 12 and 32 mi.

Grade 2

The bike tours reach elevation between 200 and 500 metres. A day's tour covers between 30 and 60 km / 19 and 38 mi.

Grade 3

The bike tours reach elevation between 300 and 700 metres. A day's tour covers between 30 and 80 km / 19 and 50 mi.
