  • Would you like to be in the vicinity before your biking and cruising tour in the Ionian Islands begins or to spend a few more relaxed days afterwards on the island of Corfu?
  • Corfu is the largest island in the Ionian archipel and its diverse landscape, countless beaches, turquiose-coloured sea and many sightseeing attractions are impressive. The beautiful landscape in the north of the island, with its coast of sandstone cliffs at Sidari, attracts tourists like a magnet.
  • Corfu’s capital – also named Corfu – is considered one of the most beautiful towns in all of Greece. To stroll through the lively lanes of the historical centre with its Venetian flair, where countless small shops offer a colourful profusion of wares, is a true holiday highpoint. Also impressive are the New and Old Fortress, just as photogenic as the monastery island of Vlacherna- connected by a dam to the main island – and nearby Mouse Island (Pontikonissi).
  • Austria’s great empress Sissi already described Corfu as the island of her dreams when she came there to improve her delicate health. In 1890 – 1892, she had an extraordinary palace built 7 km south of Corfu Town, calling it Achilleion, after Achilles, the legendary Homeric hero. It is today one of the main tourist attractions.
  • So it is certainly always worthwhile to extend your holiday on Corfu: No matter whether you are interested in culture, love hiking or exploring the island by car, or simply want to relax on the beach – Corfu has something for everybody.

  • Should you decide to extend your vacation in Corfu’s beautiful capital, we can recommand the Hotel Bella Venezia in the historical town centre.

  • The hotel, which is one of the most beautiful hotels in Corfu Town, is housed in a neo-classical building completely renovated in 2006 and located in the historical old part of Corfu, quite near the main Esplanada Square and the old citadel.

  • The 31 rooms were stylishly furnished by the well-known interior designer Marilou Dolianite. They all have a private bath, telephon and internet connection, TV, a safe, a minibar, a balcony and air-conditioning. There is also a snackbar as well as a garden where, weather permitting, breakfast is served.

  • The complex offers 213 elegantly furnished rooms with bath, air-conditioner, telephone, TV, radio, minibar and safe. In addition to a private beach, the hotel has a large swimming pool, an open-air cinema, tennis courts, its own fitness studio, a beach volley complex as well as restaurants and bars.

Please note that it is not possible to book a single night. The minimum booking is for three nights.
