Hiking cruise around the Kvarner Bay Islands - Itinerary
Hiking cruise Kvarner Bay - 8 days/7 nights
1000 islands in crystal-clear water, rugged cliffs and countless little bays that’s the island world of Croatia. Every island has its own distinct look, its own past, which is mirrored in the countless historical city ports.
We’ll spend one week getting to know the country and the locals of the islands of Cres, Krk, Rab and Losinj. We’ll set off in the morning with a good healthy breakfast. At midday we’ll meet up at the boat to receive a warm meal or you can enjoy a picnic outside in the fresh air. In the evening the motorized sailing boat will await us in the next port, and we will enjoy an excellent meal, before heading off for some shopping in the historical port city and finally lie down to sleep in our cabin or on deck under a thousand stars…
Course of the tour - Day 1 (Sun) Omišalj – Opatija Riviera (2 hrs)

Individual arrival at Omišalj, a small harbor on the island of Krk. If you arrive by car we organize a supervised parking place. From 11 am you may move into your cabin on board the motor yacht. At 1 pm the boat will set sail for Lovran, where we’ll walk along a 12 km long shore side promenade. Overnight stay in Opatija.

Our motorized sailing vessel will drop us off on the island of Cres. The planned hike will take us to Beli, one of the oldest castle settlements. The poetic pathway will take us through the island’s only "jungle". After three hours we’ll reach a farm where griffons are raised. Here we’ll hear some interesting stories about these rare white headed birds, which will be circling high above us. In the evening we’ll travel to Krk. This adventurous day will end with a guided tour of the historical center of Krk.

In the morning we will take the local bus to Nerezine. From here the pilgrim’s path will take us up to the 588m high Televrina Mountain, the highest peak on the island. After a picnic with fantastic views across to the neighboring islands, we’ll descend to the artist’s city of Osor, where the ship will awaiting us in the old Roman canal to take us to Martinscica in the late afternoon. Overnight stay in Martiniscica.
Day 7 (Sat) Martinscica – Lubenice – Pula (5 hrs)
