Islandhopping by MTB & Boat

On our Mountain Bike cruises not only relaxation and culture are most important but also the sportive aspect. Accompanied by competent Islandhopping tour guides you will experience your holiday country in a totally different view point than other travellers: cycling on hidden trails you will get astonished by your individual view points. Mostly we will cycle on trails and calm asphalted roads with some ascents. The descents are partly demanding technical knowledge therefore knowing how to handle the mountain bike is required. In Croatia most of the MTB tours will take place parallel with our trekking tours on the same boat therefore you can travel as a couple and may choose daily between MTB or Trekking tours.

Requirements for our Mountain Bike Tours

The tours are of low to medium level of difficulty, divided into daily stages of 40-60 km on mostly peaceful asphalted roads (40 %), concrete coastal paths, nature trails and single trails at an average elevation of 500 meters and can be completed without time constraints. The downhills are partly challenging and adequate technical skills are assumed.

Helmet Use

Helmet use is mandatory on all bike tours. You are strongly encouraged to bring your own (well-fitted) helmet.
