The SY Sea Star is a seaworthy 42-metre-long and 8.2-metre-wide 3-masted yacht with a steel hull that was built in 2002. The yacht was adapted to the cruise ship requirements and therefore expanded with spacious cabins equipped with showers and toilets, wide decks and a comfortable saloon. The saloon located in the front of the ship (30 square m) is used as dining room and has HIFI, CD, TV/DVD. The saloon in the rear of the ship (30 square m) is used for the purpose of relaxation room and is equipped with a bar. The decks above the hull are covered with teakwood. The spaciously set up sun deck that is to be found in the front of the ship is furnished with mattresses and pillows and serves as lounge terrace. Half of the front deck is covered by a sun shield. Up here another sun deck has been created where again mattresses are at your disposal. On the aft deck that is also partly covered by a sun shield, guests find a bench fixed all along the stern of the ship and a huge table that is used for open air buffets.
