Hallo, my name is Can and I am 27 years old. Born in Mainz, I grew up in the beautiful city of Trier, Germany’s oldest city, the birthplace of Karl Marx, a city with World Heritage status - and a lot of wine!

That my Turkish grandparents came to Germany in the 60s made it possible for my parents to meet. My two sisters and I are the result.

After more than 23 years in Trier, the urge to see more and more becomes greater and greater. And as fate would have it, more or less by chance I found out about Island Hopping. Ivana, who also works as a tour guide for Island Hopping, told me all about it. My almost compulsive urge to be athletically active and my passion for travelling (preferably in Turkey, my home away from home) make Island Hopping an ideal combination for me and my hobbies.

After finishing high school and a training as an event businessman, I promptly „hopped“ to the main office in Constance for an interview. And- surprise! – in 2009 Can was allowed to hop with you from island to island for the first time, helping you get in touch with the country and the people, with the culture and nature.

I am already looking forward to travelling with you again in 2010: experience and excitement, hot and cold, amusing, interesting, fabulous, new and old, Croatian, Turkish, Greek and whatever else we’ll come across on our tours.
