Sometimes life offers some nice coincidences and it always turns out differently than you thought. In my case this included some lucky coincidences that finally led me to Islandhopping.

My first time in Croatia was in 1982 (it was still Yugoslavia). I remember that we spent our holidays on Brac, where I also learned how to swim. It was in the Adriatic Sea at Zlatni Rat at the Golden Horn, a beautiful beach in the south of the island - a great memory.

In 2004 - after almost 20 years- I travelled again to Croatia. From this year on I tried to visit this wonderful country every year at least for some weeks. It became my second home, the colors, the smell, the feeling are just overwhelming and I have a constant longing to go back again.

I am happy that Islandhopping gives me a possibility to experience Croatia more than 2 weeks a year and to gain more insights of this country.  

At home in the "Sauerland" (also a pretty region) I am mostly seen outdoors when running and biking through nature. Beside sporty activities I also like to play the saxofon and sing.

I am looking forward to guiding you around the beautiful islands- surely I will get enthusiastic about Croatia as well. vidimo se
