Hi, everybody.
My name is Annett and I am ... a Sunday child. I go through life with vim and vigour; grew up at the river Elbe, in Piesteritz, to be exact, and thus very near the historical Luther-town of Wittenberg. There, I absolved an apprenticeship as a tailor – for one, because I wanted to and because I love handicrafts and, for another, because... the Musketeers did not have a job opening just then... After the Wall fell, I worked for a few years in a pet shop in Wittenberg, was then self-employed in retail for almost five years selling teas and accessories and in 1999 moved to Berlin. There, I absolved a commercial training course, worked in a language service firm and later in the administration of a Berlin foundation. Since summer 2007, I have been living in Gießen. I love places near rivers, liveliness and activity, the dawning of day and the stillness of sunset.
I love travelling and in the last few years I have been on the go as inline scater and co-tour guide. I was looking for a way of combining my private interests with a job and through additional training, persistence and lucky circumstances I came to tour guiding. So, here I am and looking forward very much to meeting you.
