Hello, my name is Markus.

Since my childhood cycling has been my favourite way of getting around; in Vienna, my hometown, I use my bike in all seasons and every kind of weather. In my "former life" as bookseller I could travel only during vacations, so I indulged in studies of history and biology. Even then my path had already led me to Croatia, which shares a lot of history with Austria and to which feel deeply connected.

For more than two years now I have been working as a tour guide and was able to make my guests feel enthusiastic not only about Vienna but also about many other destinations both near and far (Slovakia, Hungary, Spain, Portugal...). In more than one way I consider myself most fortunate that I can now "pedal" at my leisure through beautiful Croatia with my guests, and I sincerely hope that I can pass on some of my enthusiasm to my fellow bikers - keeping cheerful even when riding uphill and against the wind!
