Although my name suggests Nordic roots, I was born in the beautiful town of Görlitz, the eastern-most town of Germany (which some call already western Poland).

Biking and travelling are important parts of my life. So when I finished my university studies in sports, I did not want to give up any of it but, on the contrary, do both even more intensely.

Meanwhile, I've been on the road in Majorca with really fit race bikers, have guided holiday biker across the Lassithi Plateau in Crete, and discovered with mountain bikers a fantastic biking region in Gargano (South Italy).

In the summer, I love biking in the Alps and indulging in Italian coffee as soon as I cross the border. Not to mention the ice-cream and the rest of the "dolce."

In the autumn of 2008, I'll be for the first time on the road for Island Hopping in Greece.
