Hello, my name is Valentina. I was born in Zadar in Croatia.

While studying foreign languages (Italian and English), I had many opportunities to travel. So I spent each year some months in Italy and the USA to improve, for one thing, my language skills but also to learn more about the respective culture and way of life.

After getting my degree, I decided to move to Italy and I stayed there for six years. During this time, too, I travelled a lot and visited many beautiful countries. After this fantastic experience I moved back to Croatia in 2006.

I have been part of the Island Hopping team since May 2008, and this has given me the wonderful opportunity to find out more about my own country. I feel that Island Hopping is the best possible way to learn about the hidden beauties of my country and to experience first hand its pristine nature. I can't imagine a better opportunity to discover Croatia.
