Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split airport, which is about 5 km/3 mi. away from the boarding harbor of Trogir. After check in on the motor yacht the tour begins at 1 pm with lunch on board. In the afternoon we take a guided tour through the beautiful old town of Trogir before the boat leaves at 6 pm to take us to the nearby island of Solta.

2nd Day Islands of Solta and Hvar (approx. 19 + 25 km / 12 + 16 mi. by bicycle)

Maslinica on Solta

After breakfast our first cycle tour from Maslinica to Stomorska starts. Walled fields, numerous olive groves, locust bean and fig trees line the roads. The herb smells of lavender and rosemary accompany us along our tour of this island. In Stomorska the boat awaits us for crossover to Stari Grad on the island of Hvar. The former Greek colony is starting point of today’s afternoon ride. The destinations of this cycle tour are the picturesque harbours of Jelsa and Vrboska

3rd Day Islands of Hvar and Vis (approx. 20 km / 12.5 mi. by bicycle)

Hvar island

From Stari Grad our cycling tour leads us along the almost traffic free pass road through small villages to the town of Hvar. Once arrived in the town of Hvar we will undertake a guided tour around the town across the large Renaissance square which is lined with cathedral and many late gothic palaces. We may also climb to the Spanish fort. Here we will enjoy an amazing view over the ocean and the Paklenica Islands. In the afternoon sail to Vis island.

4th Day Islands of Vis and Korcula (approx. 32 km / 20 mi. by bicycle)

Old town of Korcula

Vis is the Croatian island located furthest from the mainland. 2.000 years ago it was already a Greek colony by the name of Issa. On account of its strategically important location, it was along with Lastovo a military zone prohibited to foreign tourists until 1995. On today’s cycling tour we will explore this likeable island. After lunch crossover to Vela Luka on the island of Korcula.

5th Day Islands of Korcula and Lastovo (approx 30 km / 19 mi. by bicycle)

flowers

From Vela Luka we cycle, passing by Blato, which like Rome, was built on seven hills, to Brna. The peacefulness and remoteness of luscious gardens with large cypresses dominate the appearance of Korcula, perhaps the most beautiful Dalmatian island. From Brna our ship takes us to Lastovo island, where the whole afternoon is at our own disposal for swimming or just relaxing. Lastovo is one of the smallest inhabited islands in the Adriatic. Already the emperor Augustus appreciated its mild climate and in Roman times it was even named "Augusta Insula" after him. The islanders, little more than 1000, still live today mainly off fishing the extremely rich waters, agriculture and wine culture.

6th Day Islands of Lastovo and Korcula (approx. 25 + 30 km / 16 + 19 mi. by bicycle)

Korcula Pupnat bay

In the morning we explore the island of Lastovo by bicycle. Here grows the yellow-golden white wine "Marastina", which is known well beyond Croatia's borders. After our ride on Lastovo, the ship takes us back to Korcula. From Brna we will cycle in the afternoon on the old pass roads past the Pupnat Bay and finally we will reach Pupnat, from where we will continue to Korčula town that vies with Venice for the title of the birth place of Marco Polo.

7th Day Peljesac Peninsula and Dubrovnik (approx. 30 km /19 mi. by bicycle)

Ston medieval fortification system

Pelješac impresses visitors even from afar with its Sv. Ilja Mountain, which rises almost 1000 meters from the sea. After a short cruise in the morning we will take a cycle tour from Prapratno to Ston. The amazing fortification fortress of Ston, built in the 15th century, is the longest defense wall of whole Europe. After a coffee break in Ston we continue cycling to Slano on the mainland, where we meet the boat that takes us to Dubrovnik. There we will have enough time to participate in a guided tour through this town listed as a World Heritage site and for a walk to the impressive city walls.

8th Day Disembarkation at Dubrovnik

main street of Dubrovnik

Disembarkation till 9 am and individual departure or extended stay in Dubrovnik. It is also possible use our group transfer from Dubrovnik to Trogir for 50 Euro per person or to book an additional night with breakfast on the boat for 40 euro per person.

General Information

Alterations
We reserve the right to make alterations on the itinerary, depending on wind and weather conditions as well as organisational necessities.

Requirements (level 2-3)
The bike-tours require a basic level of fitness from participants, which they should have acquired from steady cycling. The routes can reach an altitude of 200 - 500 meters. The day-tours from 30 to 50 km will take us through hilly and mountainous terrain and will be completed without any time-constraints. Participants will also need to master long and steep climbs, during which they are, however, also permitted to push their bikes. You are free to set aside a half or full day to swim or spend on board the boat, instead of taking a planned bike-tour. We will traverse mostly asphalted roads, which are rarely traveled on outside the holiday seasons. Each day you can either decide to bike alone, using the information and maps provided, or join the two tour guides or other participants.

Helmet Use
Helmet use is mandatory on all bike tours. You are strongly encouraged to bring your own (well-fitted) helmet. Rental helmets are available on board in limited number (reservation is necessary).

Bringing Children
We believe that only children in a good physical condition and of a minimum age of 10 and previous bicycle tour experience are able to master the bike-tours on their own strength. Please note that the minimum height for a rental bike is 1,40 m (4.6 ft.)

Catering
The cook on board is a member of the crew and prepares a hearty breakfast and two warm dishes a day.
